Abigail (Raven-Symoné), Parker (Joanna García), Rachel (Chryssie Whitehead) & Caitlyn (Virginia Williams) are childhood friends. Rachel is the nice girl of the group. Abigail has a problem with authority and Parker is the troublemaker. Caitlyn is a rich brat & loves to play weddings with a chair for a groom. She called the shots & the other 3 followed as she was rich & used to getting her way. Caitlyn would take whatever she liked and never cared about other's feelings. It was Caitlyn's house, her rules and her ego over everything else. Caitlyn loved to play bride in her pretend weddings as a kid. To her a groom at a wedding was needed, but not very important.Abigail & Parker go to work in NYC. Abigail published her own book. Parker became an actor and did a bunch of plays off Broadway. They always remained in touch with Rachel who stayed on Lambert, Louisiana. When Abigail and Parker return from New York City to visit their hometown for Parker's parents 30th wedding anniversary, they discover that their best friend Rachel is a bridesmaid in the wedding of their childhood friend, Caitlyn. The other bridesmaids are Bitsy (Brittany Ishibashi), Ashlie (Angelena Swords) and Ashley (Lacey Minchew) Tony (Lyle Brocato), who was Rachel's boyfriend until Caitlyn interfered & stole Tony from Rachel. Caitlyn never intended to invite Abigail and Parker to her wedding and was cornered because she ran into them in town.Rumor is that Caitlyn's mom Olivia (Beth Broderick) forced Caitlyn to get engaged to Tony as Tony's family had money & Caitlyn's mom was out of it after running through 3 hubby's and having trouble finding a fourth. Olivia had recently put up their mansion up for sale. A day after the engagement to Tony, Olivia took the mansion off the market.Abigail and Parker know that Rachel and Tony are perfect for each other. They believe that there is no way that Caitlyn would have fallen in love with Tony in such a short period of time. Abigail and Parker decide to run some interference of their own. They manipulate Caitlyn's original ditsy bridesmaids & get them kicked off by having them offend Caitlyn. They tell Ashley and Ashlie that to get close to Olivia they need to tell her to slow down her drinking, in front of everybody. Caitlyn and Olivia were giving an interview to magazine journalist Glen Woodward (Carl J. Walker), with the hope of getting the wedding featured when Ashley and Ashlie decide to ask Olivia to slow down on her drinks. They are shunted out half an hour later. Abigail and Parker become bridesmaids as well so that they and Rachel can sabotage the wedding from the inside. Olivia is suspicious of them, but Caitlyn is convinced that she is calling the shots and invites Abigail and Parker to stay at her mansion till the wedding.With help from a police detective Henry (David Clayton Rogers) who happens to be a groomsman & attracted to Parker, the girls strive to ruin Caitlyn's wedding while dodging her controlling mother and hopefully reuniting Tony and Rachel. Olivia cuts Abigail's food and assigns her a personal trainer to get her to lose 10 pounds before the wedding. Rachel is not in favor of breaking them up as she knows that Caitlyn is pregnant & it is Tony's child. Rachel says that Tony and Caitlyn only slept together once, and it was Caitlyn who told Rachel that she was pregnant.Abigail confronts Olivia when she wants the bridesmaids to fit inside the dresses, instead of the dresses being altered. Olivia is cruel to Abigail by referring to her by her childhood nickname "Flabigail", and by resorting to body shaming to shut her down.Abigail and Parker break into the doctor's office and find an actual lab report that belong to Caitlyn and confirms her pregnancy. Henry meets Parker and says that even Tony is not happy to marry Caitlyn, but he is doing what he thinks is right, as he knows that Caitlyn is pregnant. Rachel & Tony still love each other & steal moments to express their feelings. Abigail & Parker question Bitsy and find that the pregnancy report was not Caitlyn's, it belonged to Bitsy's sister. The lab report was based on a sample that came from Bitsy's sister. Caitlyn was never pregnant. Before Rachel can tell Tony, he leaves for a 3-day bachelor trip only to return just before the wedding.Abigail overhears Caitlyn fighting with her mother that the only reason she is marrying Tony is because of the money & that she doesn't love him. So, the girls decide to sabotage the wedding by messing with every little detail.They get caught when they shred Caitlyn dress & her mum hands the 3 of them to Henry under police custody. Parker tells the truth to Henry & he lets the 3 go.The 3 capture Caitlyn on the wedding day & force her to give a urine sample for a pregnancy test. Caitlyn refuses, & when the police arrive, she gloats about marrying Tony for his money & not being pregnant, not realizing that all this was a ruse by the 3 to get Caitlyn to confess exactly that, which was recorded.They take her back to the wedding & instead of confessing to Tony she still lies. Tony says that there is no family fortune & on hearing that Caitlyn refuses to marry him. Tony then proposes to Rachel & she accepts & then he reveals that his family still has the money.
