Christmas is coming to the small town of Borington, and everyone except for 11-year-old Sara is busy preparing for the holiday. Sara is on the run from the police and lives like an invisible Ninja in vacant houses. When a dragon crashes through the window in the house she's occupying, everything's turned upside down. She engages the neighbor boy Mortimer who dreams of becoming a YouTube star, to help. Together they decides to help the dragon home before anyone catches them. But it's not easy to stay hidden with a fire-breathing dragon friend.
