Driven by the need to spice up their dull, predictable, and ordinary lives in Lexington, Kentucky, and in the process, make millions, the quartet of amateur robbers summons up the courage to break into the library of Transylvania University to steal a rare first edition of John James Audubon's Birds of America, and once there, throw in Charles Darwin's scientific theory, On the Origin of Species.
